Though I moved many times during childhood, music was always a constant in my life. In high school, I played piano for the jazz ensemble and West Connection show choir, as well as keyboard for the pit orchestra in the drama department’s productions of Pippin and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. I also accompanied various instrumental soloists and a women’s choir, in addition to playing clarinet in the marching band and wind ensemble, and singing in choir.
While attending Clemson, I played keyboard for the Clemson Players' production of Rent, was assistant music director for Guys and Dolls, and music directed The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. I also participated in Tiger Band and Symphonic Band.
In December 2012, I graduated from Clemson with a B.A. in Performing Arts, a concentration in music, and a minor in education. I currently play piano at Crossgate Church, have recently played for the Seneca Middle School Chorus program, and I will be participating in the musical Working at Clemson's Brooks Center for Performing Arts in February 2013.
